Mokume gane necklace on natural, undyed Greek leather cord. Mokume gane is a historic Japanese technique used to make ceremonial swords and other objects.

It is made by layering many very thin different metals in one sheet by fusing. There is no solder used in Mokume gane. The mokume gane in this necklace is Sterling silver and copper. The copper is patinated to contrast with the silver.

The backing is Sterling silver. On the reverse side, I can stamp any words or numbers that you like.
