Ichthus Ring
The Ichthus ( in Greek In the first few centuries after Christ's death and resurrection, Christian believers were routinely persecuted and killed. When one Christian met someone he suspected was a fellow believer, he might draw a curve, half of the Ichthus symbol, in the dirt or sand. If the second person was a Christian, he could complete the drawing by adding the second curved line. People would use this as a safe way to find out if they could discuss their faith in Christ without fear of mortal danger from authorities. This sterling silver ring, shown at top and on right, is stamped with the ichthus symbol all the way around. Order your size. Allow 2 weeks for delivery.
